You will be lodged in a clean and comfortable Bed & Breakfast with exposed beams in the ceilings. There is one room with bunk style beds that holds six (6) people. There are two (2) bedrooms triple occupancy; possibility of adding a fourth (4th). Central heating, air conditioning, satellite TV, bar refrigerator, Computer with Internet, bathroom with shower and common area.
Breakfast served with coffee, milk, fruit juice, ham, yoghurt, bread, butter and ham.

dei Legionari (well known as Trieste Airport, TRS) is 5 minutes by TAXI or Car. Arriving by train disembark at the Sagrado Train Station you can reach us on foot. You can park your car or motorcycle on our property: motorcycles and bicycles can be locked away in our lockable garage
(see
detailed map).

From March through to August we offer guided flights in one of the most breathtaking and known areas in Europe. Come improve your personal flying skills, share your enthusiasm with other enthusiastic pilots. If you are looking for that long achievable cross country XC flight be it 50klm or over 100klm? Further? Here XC Contest is at home: our pilots have been at the top of the ratings here in Italy for the past three (3) years as well as being at the pinnacle of the European Ratings. A number of records have been broken or established in this area. Thousands of pilots venture here annually to enjoy the flying and reach their goals.
The location will be determined based on meteorology reports for that day. Some of the more visited sites to name a few: Aviano, Meduno, Gemona, Sorica, Tolmin and Lijak; with other lesser known areas i.e. Revine, Caneva, Maniago, San Simeone, Porzus, Musi, Ajdussina and Kobarid. Here some track flights...
Possibilities of short, medium or long distance flights 30-150klm but for the more experienced there are 160-260klm distances to be reached. World record distance attempts are possible in these areas, world speed records too. At the beginning of each day, we will meet and discuss the possibilities at attempting any or all of the above criteria. Advice will be given on best possible flight paths and how to get from one point to another. Maps and Compasses along with GPS are the methods that will be used to further your understanding of the areas. We will use maps of thermals too! Click here to view the complete XWeek programme.
